Merry CHRISTmas

Merry Christmas everyone! Yes, yes, I have been away for a bit, but not too long to forget to write a post concerning the birth of Christ and this most wonderful holiday. As you may remember I and my family left for Eastern Canada last week to spend some time with family, you also may remember that I was going to write in  my book. Well, lets just say that all of the food and family etc kept me from my computer and took me up with the rest of the Christmas spirit. So, sorry...I did not finish my book thus delaying the giveaway. :( Anyway, we (my family and I) are leaving for a dinner with our church and I must be getting off my computer so...yeah...bye, and Merry Christmas!

Writing Time!!!

Writing time? Yes, writing time. As I am heading off to Eastern Canada tomorrow I have come to the decision that I will be spending most of my time writing in my book. You know what this means? That's right, you get to enter into the contest that I am making as soon as my book is finished! I also wanted to thank all of my followers for following me :P You guys/girls are really encouraging and you certainly have helped me write my book in one way or another. Once again thanks, and have a great CHRISTmas holiday!

40k words!

With a bit of brain power and some physical work I finally managed to reach 40 thousand words! Even though I say it each time I am going to have to say it once more...I CANT BELIEVE IT! So as I am preparing to wrap up my first book nicely I have come up with a great idea to celebrate the finish, can you guess what it is? That's right, a give away. Unfortunately I am not going to be giving a copy of my book to the winner, rather it will be the grand prize of a ten dollar Amazon gift certificate (two five dollar gift cards).
The winner will be able to buy whatever they want with it and, if they save up long enough, they might even get some of my books (this is not a guarantee). So, as soon as I finish the first book in ITML we will begin the giveaway!

Editing and Publishing

As I am nearing the end of my first book in the 'ITML' series I am planning to look into editing it and soon after publishing it. Unfortunately I am totally without guidelines as to where to go with this so I have decided to pull out my last resort and ask you guys. I know that many of you are writers and some of you may have already published books so if you have and suggestions for a first-timer like myself, I would be glad to hear them in a comment. Thanks for your time!

36k words!

I had almost forgot the excitement to raise your word count another several thousand words, it isn't exciting, it is invigorating! Anyway, I suppose all of my random blurbs did actually help me as I took a few of the ideas from that, and earlier post's in my blog. So yeah, I am thrilled I am back in the writing. For a bit there I thought I was going to stop my book, but with all the excitement of others finishing their books I just couldn't hold back. Oh, that reminds me, I timed myself and wrote 2k words in about half an hour to an hour! So far I believe that is the most I have written in a time span like that. One more thing, I noticed that there are a few more people following my blog and I just wanted to say thanks so much! You guys are really encouraging especially when you leave a comment, so once again, thanks.
