The Adventures of Walrus Island:

Hey everyone! I just wanted to make a quick note that an exciting time has come in my life and it falls under three main points as you can see below.

 1. This is the 100'th post on TCWH!!! WOOOT.

 2. It appears that finals are almost completed for school!!!!

 3. I just finished my third book...I never mentioned it before because I haven't been on here for over a year, or two. It, as you may have been able to derive from the title of this post, is called the "Adventures of Walrus Island" and is based on the plot which you can read about right now...

~Based in a modern tale an ordinary North Detroit family makes plans for a family vacation in the Atlantic ocean to the deserted and completely uninhabited Walrus island. Their trip is wonderful, filled with family entertainment and fun until a stowaway with a mysterious secret is found aboard their boat. When Duncan Bennett finds her, she tells about treasures that lay hidden near the island and a disturbing family issue that is closely knit with the them. From that point Duncan is faced with the option to tell his parents about the danger they would be facing, or to solve the issue by himself. He choses the latter and is consequently seeing new dangers unfold before his eyes. Modern day pirates, gold mines, and sunken ships are only part of the adventure that they embark upon, but even these are considered small compared to their race to leave the island with their lives.

Alrighty, so that's a little bit of a teaser as to what the book is about and below are a few more details that the serious writers might consider interesting:

  •  70,211 Words
  •  146 pages (Cambria Body 11)
  •  37 Chapters

So yeah, that's the specs as to how its been going. I think it took me like...33 hours to complete which spanned since Sept 2011 or somewhere there abouts. I have high hopes to have the book published one day as one of my school teachers has connections for matters like that, so perhaps in the future you might be able to find it on the shelf in some random bookstore. :P

Anyway's, have a great day everyone and may your keyboards/pens/typewriters/etc always be busy in a book (...which reminds me I had better get to editing...)!
