There is only one word that can define randomness for me *puffs up like a robin*: Flow'st and rabbits.
Signed with a flabbit tail,
Squeaks.
*looks at Squeaks comment* *sighs* Truly the work of a random writer. Great definition Squeaks! Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm, random........to me means...spur of the moment doing something in the opposite direction of where you were heading originally. Kind of like you, SOTK, planning on doing a full day of school only to be distracted by the waving of the branches blowing in the wind and that tree beckoning you to climb it. :)
Flow'st, I love it!

@Child of God,

@ Kaleb,
Great explanation! I find it interesting how you would classify it as a disease, at least it is one that I won't actually mind catching.
Thanks for your opinion!
@ Child of God,
Yeah, yeah...I know.
"Of course we could just put this off and use the word flow'st to describe it, but it just wouldn't hit the spot completely as we want to know the deeper meaning."
Using flow'st--! Why, I oughta... ;)
@ Jake,
Well it would work, just think of this definition:
Randomness=flow'st! It sounds great. Oh by the way I just realized that I didn't include a citation for your word. I will put that in right now!

Purple-Polka-Dotted Disco-Dancing Hyperactive Manic RABBITS!
Hey, you asked for a def. of random. That works, doesn't it? XD
The Director,
Mm, another one about rabbits...but still it does define random in a very creative way.

I could have put a *real* definition but I was feeling *random* hahaha....
Rabbits appear to equal random, huh?
